Description

1981 was the year when he was most active during the short Randy Rhoads era. Introducing a new excavated live album that will enrich your on-site collection. What is infused into this work is “May 4, 1981 Springfield performance”. This is a vintage audience recording recorded during one act of the US tour that was the first step towards world domination. This US tour was the biggest leg in the Randy era, and is also famous for producing “TRIBUTE”. In addition, since there are many performances, there are many records, and our store has many masterpieces in our archives. This is a good opportunity, so let’s organize the 1981 collection by date and check the position of this work. [March: Tommy Aldridge/Rudy Sarzo joins] April 22nd “BLIZZARD OVER U.S.A. Shows marked with “・” are released by our store, and shows marked with “*” are other shows. The other day, the new excavation live album “BUFFALO 1981” was well received, but the Springfield performance of this work was one day before that. It was the 12th performance of the US tour, just one week before the main performance of “TRIBUTE” in Cleveland. This work, which records such a show, is a somewhat maniacal live album. The existence of recording itself has been known for a long time, but this work is an upgrade master of it. It is a full-length version that also includes “Children Of The Grave” and “Paranoid”, which were previously cut. Of course, not only the length but also the sound is improved. Although the pitch fluctuates in the early stages like the conventional version, it becomes more stable as the show progresses. What’s more, the muffled atmosphere becomes incomparably clearer, and the extremely thick core jumps right in front of my eyes. Along with this, the detail has improved significantly, and each hit of Tommy Aldridge’s drumming, even the bass drum hits, is clearly clear. Of course, Ozzy’s vocals are vivid at the level of one word of the lyrics, and Randy’s dancing is also beautiful. To be honest, with the previous master, I felt like “I didn’t even bother to check whether the performance was different from other performances,” but in this work, Randy’s melody freezes my heart and makes me want to dig deeper into improvisation. It is a close-up that makes you realize once again that “it was actually a great recording.” Moreover, this work further brushes up the original sound of the new excavation. I mentioned earlier that the pitch fluctuated in the beginning, but I corrected this as much as possible. As expected, I can’t say that it is “stable and stable all the way through as if nothing happened”, but it is more than enough to enjoy the subtleties of the performance. Those who know the original sound will be able to feel that it is “a totally different thing”. The recording, which until now was thought to be at the level of “just being able to listen to it,” was actually a powerful and powerful masterpiece. This is a full-length master that will make you happy with that fact itself. Audience recording of “Springfield performance on May 4, 1981”, one week before the famous Cleveland performance of “TRIBUTE”. This is an upgraded master of the previously known recording, and is a full-length version that also includes “Children Of The Grave” and “Paranoid”, which were previously cut. The sound has also improved, and the muffled atmosphere becomes incomparably clear and clear, and the extremely thick core jumps right in front of your eyes. This is the best version that corrects as much as possible the pitch that was irregularly swinging in the original net sound. This is a piece that will further enrich your valuable Randy collection.
