Description
In the summer of 2017, Zakk Wylde returned to the band for the first time in about 10 years and embarked on a solo tour with only a few shows. This is a title that couples the sound and video of the performance at the “Moonstock Festival” held in Carterville, Illinois on August 21st from that precious short tour. First, the sound source is a complete recording of the day’s performance with high-quality digital audience recording. This festival was held to coincide with the first total solar eclipse in decades to cross the US, and Ozzy appeared on stage at around 1:00 p.m. This was an elaborate production that started the live performance with “BARK AT THE MOON” at the moment when the sun was completely hidden by the moon on that day, and after that, he performed a set that can be called the best of Ozzy, including not only his solo representative songs but also Sabbath classics. In addition, the coupling DVD contains almost a complete recording of the day’s performance with various audience videos, including mobile. All performance numbers are recorded except for the drum solo, and good video sources have been selected from multiple audience sources, so there are many stable angles. And above all, the dramatic opening of “BARK AT THE MOON” in the darkness due to the total solar eclipse is goosebump-inducing, and this collector’s edition is a must-have for fans along with the sound source. 1 : 1.
