Description

“G.Mann” is an unknown master of the 80’s who is making heavy metal collectors all over the world excited. The Ozzy Osbourne edition is here. What is infused into this work is “September 1, 1984 Karlsruhe performance”. This is a masterpiece audience recording of the West German edition of “MONSTERS OF ROCK” which became a festival tour. Several live albums before and after “Howl at the Moon” were released at the same time. Each tour has different timings and features, so be sure to check the tour schedule to confirm your position. 1983《Jake joins》・January 12th-30th: Europe #1 (13 performances)《Bridgewater→Ailey change》・February 11th-April 5th: North America #1 (34 performances)《Costa→ Daisley change》・May 29th: US FESTIVAL ←※THE COMPLETE SOUNDBOARD《Aldrich → Apis change/“Howl at the Moon” released on November 15th》・November 10th – December 22nd: Europe #2 (32 performances ) January 10th – February 20th, 1984: North America #2 (31 performances) [Apis → Aldrich change] ・March 3rd – June 10th: North America #3 (61 performances) ← *Official video June 28th – July 7th: Japan (8 performances) ← *ULTIMATE BARKS: TOKYO 1984 August 4th: Puerto Rico August 18th – September 2nd: Europe #3 (5 performances) ←★Here ★ January 16th + 19th, 1985: ROCK IN RIO (2 performances) ← *Pro shot 《Aldrich/Daisley/Ailey left》 This is a summary of the activities related to “Howl at the Moon” since Jake joined. The last one was an appearance on “ROCK IN RIO”, but that was just an additional thing. The last part of the main tour was “Europe #3” which became “MONSTERS OF ROCK Tour”, and this work was the fourth concert of the tour. This show has previously been delivered as “MONSTERS OF ROCK IN GERMANY 1984 VOL.1 (Non Label)”, but this work is a completely different new excavation master. This is the original master released by the now popular master “G.Mann”. This person attracted attention when he released the best recording of “MONSTERS OF ROCK” in 1984, and ACCEPT’s Donnington version and MOTLEY CRUE’s West German version “NUREMBERG 1984” are also works by this person. To be more specific, Ozzy’s “OFFENBACH 1983”, which will be released at the same time, is also part of the “G.Mann” collection, and this work is its sister work. The reason why it is such a hot topic is, of course, quality. This work is no exception, and the clear and transparent sound is exquisite. Although there are outdoor venues without echoing walls or ceilings, the sky is terrifyingly clear and every detail is crisp and clear. Even when Tommy Aldridge’s wild hitting and Bob Daisley’s singing bass line are intertwined, they don’t blend together. Of course, Jake is vivid up to the edge of his scratch picking, and Ozzy’s singing voice allows you to understand not only each word of the lyrics, but also the nuances and breathing contained in them. The extraordinary sense of directness explodes throughout the entire album, but what is especially surprising is the (surprisingly rare) outro “Goodbye To Romance.” It is played in the venue as BGM to signal the end of the show, and even the smallest part is so close-up that it’s as vivid as if the studio album was being played directly! What is depicted in such ultra-clear sound is the famous tour performance that made the new music “heavy metal” known to the world. The set is the standard one for “BARK AT THE MOON Tour” and is the same as the official pro shot, so I will not analyze it, but the performance and sense of openness is amazing. Most powerful of all is Jake’s chopped guitar, playing and knocking down not only the “Howl at the Moon” song but also Randy’s songs with tremendous force. The number of sounds is like a machine gun like Gary Moore, and the sharpness of each shot is like something even George Lynch would do. All of the successive guitarists are heroes who have carved their names in the history of metal, but no one can match Jake in terms of the “metal feel” that creates metallic luster and sharpness. Moreover, this work is the final stage of such a tour, an outdoor festival where you can witness a large crowd. It’s a heavy metal crater album, with a strange amount of tension gushing out like a geyser. It was Randy Rhoads who made Ozzy independent and took him to the throne of the scene. And it was Zakk Wylde who immortalized that glory. However, it was undoubtedly Jake’s guitar that spread the appeal of the music genre “heavy metal” all over the world and convinced people with the sound that “I see, this is metal, not rock.” And it was the evil demon king Ozzy who followed him. What emanates from this work is the very atmosphere of 1984. Super clear audience recording of “September 1, 1984 Karlsruhe Performance”. This is a new excavated recording that is completely different from the previously released “MONSTERS OF ROCK IN GERMANY 1984 VOL.1”, and the sound is strangely clear. The sound from the PA is directly picked up in an outdoor venue with zero echoes, and every detail is clear and clear. Even when Tommy’s wild hitting and Bob’s singing bass line are intertwined, they don’t mix together. Of course, Jake’s scratch picking edge is vivid, and Ozzy’s singing voice can be understood to the nuances and breathing contained in the lyrics. This is a highlight of the “BARK AT THE MOON Tour” that spread heavy metal all over the world, and you can experience a full show full of excitement and excitement.
