Description

A 55-minute recording of a gig at a local Chicago club on February 2, 1985, recorded on a soundboard from the master for radio broadcast. First, Rush’s thick guitar roars amidst the tough bass and tight, speedy drums, and even though he is using a Strat, it has a fat sound that rivals a Gibson 335. The members supporting him with a variety of backing create a spectacular groove, and the stage where Rush plays at high energy is a relaxed atmosphere with some jam-style sessions, including Clapton’s familiar “Double Trouble”. In any case, Rush’s hot guitar and vocals roar throughout the entire album, making this a must-listen for blues fans. Recorded at Biddy Mulligan’s, Chicago, IL, USA February 2nd 1985 : Soundboard recording 1. Introductions – Instrumental 2. FEEL SO BAD 3. DOUBLE TROUBLE 4. THAT WILL NEVER DO 5. RIGHT PLACE WRONG TIME 6. Instrumental 7. TRYING TO BE NICE 8. IT’S MY OWN FAULT, BABY
