Description

One of the periods in the career of Oasis in 1995, which was a huge success, where the number of items tends to be limited is the first US tour of the year. The schedule was held with a two-week break in between, but there were few items other than the early Vancouver radio broadcast, and there were only a few B-class audiences released in real time. In fact, there are many very good audience recordings, and the groundbreaking release to show a good example of this is the masterpiece “DALLAS 1995 DAT MASTER”, which captured the February gig with a superb sound quality audience recording. This was the early period of the tour as a whole, and the gig took place almost two weeks after the classic Vancouver. The fact that the Gallagher brothers’ defiant attitude towards the American (and even southern) audience, which could not be conveyed from the radio sound source, was the face of the best audience. The release filled the period of February 1995, which was a blank area of items, but now it’s March. This month, veteran enthusiasts such as “LIVE FOREVER” and “BRITISH LADS IN BOSTON” only had a few real-time titles that were the epitome of nostalgia, and the sound quality was B-class audience recordings. Naturally, these items are now difficult to obtain. They are not titles with the quality to search for desperately. Rather, as time passed, the same superb audience as “DALLAS 1995 DAT MASTER” was circulated, and they had the quality to be heard by today’s ears. A typical sound source was a gig held on March 24th at First Avenue in Minneapolis. The venue is a famous live house with a deep connection to Prince, and Oasis also performed there in 1995. It is worth noting that it was a gig at such a venerable venue, but the quality of the audience recording that captured the pattern is outstanding. The power of the on sound image is amazing, which is not inferior to “DALLAS 1995~”. Among them, the closeness of Liam’s vocals is superb, and the level is incomparable to the real-time items mentioned above. We guarantee that the quality is such that even beginners can enjoy it with confidence, not to mention enthusiasts. What stands out from such a superb recording and the closeness of Liam’s voice is that he talks less, which is unusual for a gig of this time. That said, Liam is not in bad shape (at all!), but rather he is in top form and sings all the songs neatly and easily. Ironically, judging from the way his voice stretches, he may have talked less because he drank less than usual. Drinking less is a positive thing for singing, and you can see from his excellent singing here. In the first place, the atmosphere of the live performance is completely different from “DALLAS 1995 DAT MASTER” in February, and the defiant attitude seen there is completely subdued. Rather, it sounds like he is taking on the stage with a very dignified tone, perhaps because he has been trained by his previous experiences. By the end of the tour, they were even less intimidated by America. It’s a shame that the new song “Headshrinker” that was performed on this tour was dropped from the set list, but the dignified performance, which has a clearly different atmosphere from 1994, shines everywhere. Another new song performed on this tour, “(It’s Good) To Be Free”, is also more solid and powerful, especially Noel’s guitar, compared to the early part of the tour in Vancouver. With such reliable performance as a backdrop, Liam’s free-flowing singing voice, which is unique to this period, shines brightly. The performance, which can be called the budding of a kingly style, will be even more enjoyable when compared to “DALLAS 1995~”. A new standard for March 1995 items with outstanding performance and sound quality! First Avenue, Minneapolis, MN, USA 24th March 1995 TRULY PERFECT SOUND (63:21) 1. Rock ‘N’ Roll Star 2. Columbia 3.
