Description
A collection of many masterpieces by Stephane, a master of the NIRVANA series recorded by that master. The original master has been newly excavated! This work is engraved with the “February 14, 1994 Paris performance”. It is a superb audience recording that captures the whole story. Speaking of 1994, it was the fateful year when Kurt Cobain died. First of all, let’s look at the overview of his activities and explore the position of this work. 1993, January 16th + 23rd: South America (2 shows), April 9th / July 23rd / August 6th: North America #1 (September 23rd “IN UTERO” released), October 18th – November 15th: North America #2 (20 shows), November 18th “MTV UNPLUGGED”, November 27th – December 31st: North America #3a (17 shows) ← ※ LIVE AND LOUD 1994, January 1st – 8th: North America #3b (6 shows), February 6th – March 1st: Europe (15 shows) ← ★ Coco ★ (April 5th: Kurt Cobain dies) This is NIRVANA in 1993/1994. They were on their last “European” tour until one month before their death, and this Paris performance was the 7th show. The soundboard masterpiece “ROME 1994” has also become a standard, but this work was eight days before (five performances before). This work, which vacuum-packs such a show, is a full live album with an incredible transcendent sound. As mentioned at the beginning, it has been digitized from the original DAT master recorded by “Stephane”, who is a hot topic in the collector world, and this work is outstanding among the many masterpieces. This show also has a short pro shot, but it is not inferior to the soundboard sound… no, it is better. I can’t say for sure because I don’t know what kind of “Stephane” work will come out from now on, but this work may be the best masterpiece of the master’s life. In fact, the thickness of the core, the vivid details, and the beautiful separation are all completely soundboard class. In that respect, it is common to the pro shot sound mentioned above, but what’s more, it is the sense of realism. Although the extremely thick performance sound and vocals do not give up the main role, the applause and chanting that participate there are wonderful. In particular, the “NEVERMIND” number is accompanied by a choir of 6,000 people on the cart, and this work allows you to experience the spectacle with official sound. Such a goosebump sound depicts a full show 51 days before his death. As mentioned above, the soundboard masterpiece “ROME 1994” is famous from this tour, but this work is a two-disc set that is longer than that classic. Let’s organize the full set while comparing it here. Nevermind (10 songs) Drain You / Breed / Come As You Are / Smells Like Teen Spirit / In Bloom / Lithium / Polly / Lounge Act / Territorial Pissings / On A Plain In Utero (8 songs) Radio Friendly Unit Shifter / Serve The Servants / Dumb / Pennyroyal Tea / Very Ape / Rape Me / All Apologies / Heart-Shaped Box Others (5 songs) Sliver / About A Girl / School Cover: The Man Who Sold the world (★) / Where Did You Sleep Last Night (★) *Note: The “★” mark indicates a song that was not included in the soundboard album “ROME 1994”. …And so it is. It is a composition that condenses and reduces the two albums “NEVERMIND” and “IN UTERO” and sprinkles other repertoires there. The two songs that were not in “ROME 1994” are both covers, “The Man Who Sold the World” by David Bowie and “Where Did You Sleep Last Night” by Lead Belly. Even so, it sounds great. Mr. Stephane has released masterpieces by various bands, but it is not inferior to official professional shot sound. This work is a live album that allows you to experience the final full show with such a transcendent sound. The original DAT master sound is a cultural heritage itself. A superb audience recording of the “February 14, 1994 Paris performance”. This is a newly excavated original DAT master by the popular master “Stephane”, and can be said to be a masterpiece. The core’s extremely thick feeling, the vivid details, and the beautiful separation are all completely soundboard-class, while the realism of the 6,000-person choir is goosebumps. You can also enjoy the delicious final full show of “The Man Who Sold the World” and “Where Did You Sleep Last Night”, which cannot be heard on the soundboard masterpiece “ROME 1994”. It is a live album that is truly a cultural heritage. Le Zenith, Paris, France 14th February 1994 TRULY PERFECT SOUND Disc:1 (47:40) 1. Radio Friendly Unit Shifter 2. Drain You 3. Breed 4.
