Description
SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS’ North American tour ended with great acclaim. The super clear highest peak live album born from the final version is now available. This work includes “Philadelphia performance on April 20, 2019”. It is a transcendental audience recording. This work is a masterpiece that I fully recommend to those who are just starting out. A more detailed collection of their North American tour will be explained in “BOSTON 2019″, which will be released at the same time, but first of all, please take a look at their entire activities. Let’s check the show’s position among them ●2018 May 20th-24th: UK #1 (4 performances) September 2nd-21st: Europe #1 (15 performances) September 23rd Sunday – 29th: UK #2 (6 performances) ● March 12th – April 22nd, 2019: North America (28 performances) ←★Coco★・April 29th – May 4th: UK #3 ( 5 performances) July 3rd-27th: Europe #2 (15 performances) This is all the performances of SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS that have been announced so far. They are currently back in the UK and starting their triumphant return tour “UK #3”, which is scheduled to run through this Golden Week. The Philadelphia performance of this work was just before that. It was the 27th performance, just before the last of the “North American” leg. This work, which records such a show, is a transcendent level audience recording that takes full advantage of the performance of the famous machine “Schoeps MK41v”. The best thing about it is the on-core and ultra-clear sound. It seems like it was being recorded from the balcony seats in the middle of the left and right, but I couldn’t feel any sense of distance at all. There was an incredible sense of closeness that was conveyed through the space, and the details were super delicate. Furthermore, the clarity is also extraordinary. Even if you listen carefully with headphones, you won’t notice any hall noise, yet it has the luster and shine of red wine poured into a crystal glass. What’s more, the enthusiasm is wonderful, giving off a sense of grand yet neat beauty. The venue was filled with excitement, probably due to the expanded set and improved performance from last year’s European tour. However, it has an exquisite understanding of TPO, and there are almost no close voices. Between songs, highlights, and highlights, cheers rise softly and then quickly subside. The timing and balance are exquisite. Perhaps this is the effect of balcony recording. It has a three-dimensional feel that makes you feel like it’s coming from beneath the music and singing, and it’s spacious enough to overlook the venue, but doesn’t obstruct it. What’s more, thanks to the clarity of the applause, you can clearly see every single beat, creating a sense of perspective, which is directly connected to the sense of scale. All of these things are ideally captured. In fact, there are songs like “Fearless” that use cheering sound effects, and the sound effects and real cheers blend indistinguishably, splendidly enlivening the music world. This splendor is the pinnacle. “LOS ANGELES 2019 2ND NIGHT” has appeared many times as an indicator of the North American tour, but the clarity and beauty of this work is far superior. In addition, “COLUMBUS 2019” was the highest peak of the same kind of clear recording, but this work is even sharper than that and exceeds the shine of the metallic luster level. The deep and rich sound of “LOS ANGELES 2019 2ND NIGHT” is still hard to throw away, but if you have to force yourself to choose one, this work is the best. In fact, it is an audience recording in which the recorder himself raises his name, but it is a famous recording that can be released as an official work as is. Of course, the show is as wonderful as the sound. As I have said many times before, the North American tour combines the largest setlist ever and mature performances. I was worried about fatigue since it was the final stage of the tour, but I couldn’t feel it, probably because it was under very good control. Although it may not seem like a performance that is driven by momentum or spirit, it actually has the dignity and dignity of a yokozuna sumo match. Anyway, super clear sound. It was a mass-produced tour of famous recordings that is rare in the rock world, but this work is a masterpiece that stands out among them. As expected, you can’t miss the incident album “BEACON THEATER 2019 1ST NIGHT” where you can enjoy co-starring with Roger Waters, but if it’s a regular live album, you can say “this is it!” The summary of the North American tour will begin from now on, but perhaps it is a little impossible to produce a sound that exceeds this work… A masterpiece that can only be thought of as such. .
