Description

NICK MASON’S SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS has evolved from the experience of a new project to the dimension of an archive. Introducing a masterpiece live album that will make completers salivate. What is recorded in this work is “September 15, 2018 Stuttgart performance”. The progress of the early PINK FLOYD reprint project has been divided into three major categories: “Britain in May #1,” “Continental Europe in September,” and “Britain in September #2,” and this work is from the European continent. Audience recording that jumped out. “ZURICH 2018” will be released at the same time, so let’s organize the collection by date including that. ・May 20th-24th: UK #1 (4 performances) ・September 2nd: Stockholm ・September 3rd “COPENHAGEN 2018” ・September 4th: Rostock ・September 6th “AMSTERDAM 2018”・9 September 8: Antwerp / September 9: Luxembourg / September 10: “PARIS OLYMPIA 2018” / September 11: “DUSSELDORF 2018” / September 13: “HAMBURG 2018” / September 15: Stutt Galt ←★Coco★・September 16th “BERLIN 2018”・September 17th: Leipzig・September 19th “VIENNA 2018”・September 20th “LIVE IN MILAN 2018”・September 21st “ZURICH 2018”・September 23rd – 29th: UK #2 (6 performances) This is all the shows that have been held to date. Here, I have omitted the performances in his home country of England, and have only described in detail the “Continent of Europe in September”. This Stuttgart performance is the 10th performance of this work. It was a concert that was the middle of five consecutive performances in Germany from Dusseldorf to Leipzig. This work, which records such a show, is a superb recording that goes beyond mere completers. As expected, it is not as shocking as “PARIS OLYMPIA 2018”, but that is because it is based on the world’s highest PINK FLOYD standards. If it were another band/artist, it is of a quality that would be more than enough to be a tour best or press. What’s most wonderful about it is its neat sound and balance. When turned on, the core jumps into your hands with plenty of response, and the details are delicate. Everything from high tones to deep bass is well-arranged, and all of them are very fresh. Even a single snare hit has a sharp start, and even the sound is clear. Although it doesn’t have particularly surprising deep bass, it is an excellent type with well-balanced sounds. For those who think of the word “honor student” as having no individuality, I would like to rephrase it as “no flaws.” It is an elegant and beautiful recording whose perfectly balanced balance itself has a strong personality. His neat, honorable demeanor extends not only to the sound of his performance, but also to the cheers he receives. There is a huge applause between songs, but there are no close screams, and the gentle applause spreads as gracefully as velvet like May rain. The sense of space is extremely elegant. It’s not so hot that you could call it enthusiastic, but the mood of listening carefully is like a performance in Japan. Even though it is supposed to be a one-shot recording audience, it has a sense of balance that makes you feel as if you are listening to a carefully mixed FM broadcast. Perhaps because it is drawn with such a balanced sound, even the show itself sounds elegant and shining. The ensemble, which has begun to reach an impregnable level as the performance progresses, is truly wonderful, and perhaps because the day before was a day off, it didn’t seem tired. On the other hand, rather than the boldness of the final day, there was a sense of certainty that could only come from the timing of the three consecutive days of performances. I think the psychedelic feel of early FLOYD could have been more wild, but this is also an expression unique to each concert, which varies from performance to performance. This is a great recording in which all the sounds, including the applause, are beautiful and well-balanced. We have already introduced a number of live albums, and their pinnacle work “PARIS OLYMPIA 2018″ has also appeared. This work may only be of interest to completers, but the quality of this work is too good to be called “one of a kind”. Beautiful, well-balanced sound with no faults to be found.
