Crazy Horse’s first live performance in Fresno, California, was held from May 1st to 3rd, 2018, four years after their hiatus in 2014. The first day was recorded in professional shot footage from the WEBcast On-Air Master. This was streamed from the venue, and the footage itself was made to look like an audience shot. It is unclear whether the quality was intentionally amateurish, but Nils Lofgren’s rejoining became a big topic of conversation. And the flow of “Country Home” to “Don’t Cry No Tears”, reminiscent of their first performance in Japan, gave me goosebumps, and the powerful stage was a complete set of 15 songs. 1. Big Time/2.
