This title is a coupling of audio and video from the performance on October 8th, the second day of the legendary rock festival “Desert Trip,” held in Indio, California, USA from October 7th to 9th, and from October 14th to 16th, 2016. The first week of the festival, which was held over two weeks and featured the biggest artists of the century, was recorded in full using close-up digital audience recordings. Since it was a special event and live performance, the basic set was a compact version of the “Rebel Content Tour” at Promise of the Real, which was also in progress at the same time, starting with “After the Gold Rush” and mainly featuring their representative numbers. The highlight of the performance was the surprise appearance of Paul McCartney, who was performing after Neil on the same day, and performing “Rockin’ in the Free World.” As a coupling, the video DVD also includes various audience footage of the day. Although it is not complete at 87 minutes in total, it is a selection of good footage from several sources, and some parts are of professional shot level, which is a different level of quality from the YouTube videos already in circulation. And from acoustic solos to organ singing and band performances with Promise of the Real, there are many highlights, and together with the second stage the following week, it is a must-listen and must-see item for fans.
