Description
In 1984, MOTLEY CRUE was recognized by the emperor Ozzy Osbourne and slammed wild LA metal across the US. A new excavation live album that lets you experience that fierce scene is here. This work is recorded in Albuquerque on March 13, 1984. It is a recording of that scorching audience. Speaking of the “SHOUT AT THE DEVIL Tour”, it was a time when they appeared at legendary festivals such as the US Festival and MONSTERS OF ROCK, and the soundboard masterpiece “SAN ANTONIO 1983” is also familiar. Let’s start by imagining their position from the schedule at that time. 1983 March 26th – April 3rd: North America #1 (6 shows) May 29th: US Festival appearances *US FESTIVAL 1983 September 3rd – 17th: North America #2 (3 shows) “SHOUT AT THE DEVIL” released on September 26th October 31st – December 16th: North America #3 (28 shows) *SAN ANTONIO 1983 1984 January 10th – March 24th: North America #4 (52 shows) *HERE* April 12th – June 15th: North America #5 (38 shows) August 18th – September 7th: Europe #1 (7 shows) *MONSTERS OF ROCK 1984 series October 15th – November 19th: Europe #2 (23 shows) This is the MOTLEY of 1983/1984 CRUE. They did a thorough US tour with well over 100 shows, and among them, “North America #4” was also the opening act for Ozzy’s “BARK AT THE MOON Tour”. The Albuquerque performance in this work was the 44th concert. This work recorded at such a show is a scorching hot powerful audience. The meaning of “scorching” is both enthusiasm and enthusiastic performance. In terms of sound quality, the core is a type that is powerful and approaches, and even Nikki Sixx’s bass has a vivid attack sound. However, at the same time, the hall sound is pulled by the momentum of the core and blows out of the speaker as hot air. No, of course, physically it is the same as room temperature, but the fierceness of the performance makes you feel “heat” and “pressure” on your face. And the enthusiasm surrounding the performance is amazing. During the performance, it is quiet as if they are shaking their heads with all their heart, but as soon as the song ends, a tremendous cheer erupts like a geyser. The audience may have come to see Ozzy, but the excitement of this work is the headliner itself. It’s as amazing as an encore with hit songs that are sure to kill you. There is a chaotic frenzy that makes you question common sense, such as “Is Albuquerque in South America?” Of course, it’s not actually a hit parade, but a show where delicious early repertoires are concentrated and reduced. Finally, let’s organize the contents. Brilliant Passion (3 songs) Take Me To The Top (*) Piece Of Your Action Live Wire Shout At The Devil (6 songs) Shout At The Devil Knock ‘Em Dead, Kid Too Young To Fall In Love (★) Red Hot (★) Looks That Kill Helter Skelter *Note: The “★” mark indicates a song that was not performed at “US FESTIVAL 1983”.
