Description
MOTLEY CRUE in 1997, the original four members reunited. A superb video showing the scene of the show where the incident occurred is now available. This work was filmed at the Greensboro performance on October 28, 1997. This is a superb audience shot that allows you to fully experience the first act of “GENERATION SWINE TOUR”. Although we were able to come to Japan on this tour, let’s check the show’s position from the schedule at the time, including that. [January 27: Announcement of return at AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS] April 5: Appearance at LIVESTOCK FESTIVAL VII June 10-24: North America #1 (10 performances) [“GENERATION SWINE” released on June 24]・June 28th: ROSKILDE FESTIVAL ・August 16th + 17th: Japan (2 performances) ・September 13th: Atlantic City performance ・October 10th – December 11th; North America #2 (43 performances) ←★ Here★ [Superb view & super quality full video] This is MOTLEY CRUE in 1997. Overseas, they only performed at Denmark’s “ROSKILDE FESTIVAL” and three performances in Japan, other than that their main battleground was North America. The Greensboro performance of this work was the 13th concert of “North America #2” which was the main leg. This work, which records such a show, is truly a superb shot of the finest scenery. Anyway, the view is amazing. The photo was taken from the rear stand seats slightly to the left of the stage, with no obstructions. It is a sample video of a spectacular view where only the stage occupies the view while looking down on the audience in the arena seats. If you pull it all the way, the erotic images projected on the huge screen will fit in perfectly, and the zoom that boldly attacks from there will also be intense. And the image quality. Super vivid, super clear, and super beautiful. Since it was made in 1997, I believe it was a video shoot, but no matter how you look at it, it just looks like a modern digital camera. In the close-up, Vince’s upper body fills the screen, but you can clearly see the wrinkles in his silver-colored costume and every single strand of his blonde hair. Even the most distant Tommy Lee can clearly see the muscles in his upper arms. The clear sound that matches the spectacular view is also amazing. Although it cannot be said that the sense of distance is zero, because there is no obstruction, the core that reaches straight is like a laser beam, and the details are transmitted vividly as a result. However, from the opening scene to the first song, “Find Myself,” the story is a little different. It’s a spectacular angle very similar to the main story, but there’s no zoom and the audio is a bit loud. The sound suddenly improves during the second song, “Girls, Girls, Girls,” so perhaps the missing scenes were supplemented with other footage. In any case, please be careful not to jump to the conclusion that “this is what it is” at the start. What is depicted with such visual beauty is the greatest hits of the 90s with a hint of heaviness. Let’s organize the contents of the set here. Classics (12 songs)・TOO FAST FOR LOVE: Live Wire・SHOUT AT THE DEVIL: Shout at the Devil/Looks That Kill/Helter Skelter・THEATRE OF PAIN: Home Sweet Home・GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS: Girls, Girls, Girls/Wild Side・DR. FEELGOOD: Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)/Dr. Feelgood/Same Ol’ Situation (S.O.S.)/Kickstart My Heart・DECADE OF DECADENCE: Primal Scream GENERATION SWINE (3 songs)・Find Myself/ Flush/Generation Swine…and it looks like this. While focusing on the golden hit parade, it is a balance that includes only three “GENERATION SWINE” numbers. After that, the “GENERATION SWINE” song was occasionally played, but “Find Myself”, “Flush”, and “Generation Swine” are all valuable songs only for this tour. Also, that’s not the only thing that gives off a 1997 feel. For example, Tommy’s drum solo is the highlight of the show. The kit doesn’t move around, probably reflecting the serious and dark times, but that doesn’t mean it’s plain. Nuclear tests and African ethnic rituals are projected on a huge screen, creating a bizarre atmosphere. Then, at the sound of the sound, an astronaut appeared. They perform an illusion that erases Tommy along with the drum kit. Moreover, when the aviator removes the helmet after erasing the drum, it turns out to be Tommy himself! Even in an era where spinning drum kits can become ridiculous, we don’t forget entertainment. You can witness his sense of style and his talent as an entertainer from a spectacular view. [Unexpected reason for super quality revealed through trouble] Another must-see is the trouble after “Home Sweet Home.” I don’t know the details, but Nicky grabbed the microphone and got furious at the security. “Fuckin’ nigger!!!” he yells. The security guard at the public execution is also shown on zoom, and while he is making some retorts, other security guards pause. They are transported away from the audience, who are on the band’s side. The uproar resembled a pro-wrestling brawl, but it actually turned into an uproar that was even covered on ABC and MTV news. This work also includes three news programs as a bonus. What is surprising here is that the footage used as the news footage is from this work. Nowadays, it is not uncommon for footage filmed by viewers to be shown on TV, but this film was released in 1997. Although it is impossible to say for certain, this work may have been professionally shot by the staff of either the broadcasting station or the venue. It’s a reasonable, high-quality, and spectacular view… 23 years after this reorganization, the four members will return to the road in the summer of 2020. I won’t go into the twists and turns here, but this work is the best medicine for the “now” as we wait for their return. A masterpiece video that allows you to fully experience the scene filled with emotion of “Those four people are back!” from a special seat.
