Description

Contains the sound source that was rebroadcast in the 1980s from the 1960 European tour with Coltrane to the April 30th Deutsche Museum Hall performance, which was remastered in 24 bits by a maniac. Miles fans can listen to it with a much better sound than the previously released version. Contains “So What” and “Round Midnight”. The repertoire is the same as in other performances, but Coltrane, who had already completed “Giant Steps” and was considering going independent, played more freely than usual. He continues to play aggressive solos. On the other hand, Miles also performed a fiery solo. Although the group’s cohesiveness is left to the studio recording, there are 4 songs in total that give you a sense of the happenings that can only be achieved during a live performance. Live at Deutsches Museum Hall, Munich, Germany 04/03/1960 1.So What(10:37) 2.’Round Midnight(5:43) 3.Walkin'(11:03) 4.So What(second fragment, 10:09) Miles Davis (tpt) John Coltrane (ts) Wynton Kelly (p) Paul Chambers (b) Jimmy Cobb (dr)
