Miles Davis/Switzerland 1983

Recorded live in Montreal on July 7, 1983, from master quality, soundboard recordings. While a pseudo-live album with studio overdubs was later released, this is a real live version of the original recordings. Two months prior to this, they also toured Japan, and although the set and composition were almost the same, Mike Stern was no longer there, and John Scofield was the only guitarist, and Miles also hit a sharp sound at the end of “Speak” on a shuffle-like up-tempo. Also, in the middle of the show, before the guitar solo of “It Gets Better” had finished, Miles forcibly interrupted and burst into the theme of “Hopscotch”.
