Description
From the Miles Davis Quintet’s 1960 European tour, the 4/3 Munich performance is recorded on a superb stereo soundboard recording. The high-quality master used for recent digital rebroadcasts has been remastered to the latest level, resulting in a perfect sound balance of official quality. The bonus track includes an additional session held in San Francisco just before the departure of the European tour. The sound quality of this bonus track is a little rough, giving the impression of aging, but it is a valuable sound source from an experimental sextet formation that includes vibraphonist Buddy Montgomery, so it will be of great interest to enthusiasts. You can say that. Both sources have been remastered in 2021 and can be enjoyed in their current best condition.
