This is a vacuum-packed audience recording of the entire performance at the Ford Auditorium in Detroit on September 2nd, the final day of the 1982 tour, which began in earnest in 1982, the year after Miles’ miraculous comeback tour. This live performance is a live performance at the Montreux Detroit Kool Jazz Festival, held from September 1st to 6th. The audio recorded on cassette tape has been restored as noiseless as possible, recreating an easy-to-listen-to audience sound source.
