Description
In December 2001, just before Christmas, Mick Taylor flew to Spain to tour with the Tonky Blues Band, who also participated in the album as a guest player in 1995. This album is a 72-minute ultra-high quality audience recording of the second day of the final Madrid performance, out of the three live performances held at La Coruna on December 19th and at Clamores in Madrid on both December 22nd and 23rd. The sound quality is of the highest class, and it is recorded with superb sound quality that can be declared to be at soundboard level, so you can enjoy a high-quality blues live performance with a rare lineup only for this tour. The band will perform an 18-minute blues jam with Taylor from the beginning. The performance is completely different from the usual tight performance of the back members, and the more spontaneous and dynamic performance is wonderful, and Taylor, inspired by the band, will also play a series of exquisite solo plays with a deep flavor. The second song is All Along The Watchtower, which is usually played as an instrumental in Going South, but on this day it was played in full with Taylor’s own vocals, making it a very valuable take. Although there are only six songs on the album, each one is long and rich in content, allowing you to enjoy Taylor’s charm more than a normal solo live performance. Following the familiar Fed Up With The Blues and You Shook Me, Taylor sings a verse from Carol in a rock and roll jam. The last song is Can’t You Hear Me Knocking. This is a gem that is irresistible for collectors, with first-class sound quality, value, and content. Live at Clamores, Madrid, Spain 23rd December 2001 PERFECT SOUND 1. Jam 2.
