Description

The miraculous single “Dancing In The Street” was created by two heroes who are symbols of British rock. A compilation album with related sound sources will be released. This work contains five versions of “Dancing In The Street” and eight live songs. Not only are they all super-excellent stereo soundboard recordings, but they are also super-luxurious co-starring takes that shine specially in rock history. They can be broadly divided into three sections, so let’s introduce each one individually. The main focus of this work is the collaborative charity single “Dancing In The Street” which is a smash hit that sold 661,000 copies in the UK alone in 1985, but various different versions were also included on the B-side and other parts. This work covers five of these different versions. The first track is the 7-inch single “Bob Clearmountain Mix”, which is the main track. There are the usual alternative versions such as “Instrumental Version” and “Eted Version”, but the remixes are the most interesting. The “Dub Version” has been reborn as a more rhythmic version, and the dynamic and gorgeous “Extended Dance Mix” is also the best. “LIVE AID” Live (5 songs) Next comes the soundboard live performance of David Bowie, who appeared at the biggest event of the century, “LIVE AID”. The single “Dancing In The Street” was originally linked to “LIVE AID”. Initially, it was planned for Bowie to sing at Wembley Stadium in the UK and Mick to sing at JFK Stadium in the US, and for them to perform together in sync via space broadcast. However, the technology at the time inevitably resulted in an error of about half a second, and they could not perform together without lip-syncing. Of course, the two heroes could not tolerate such processing, so the live performance was shelved. Instead, they decided to produce a single two weeks after the event. In this work, we will feature Bowie’s “LIVE AID” part based on this background. It contains five songs, including four solo stages and the highlight “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”. The last is a duet live performance by Bowie and Tina Turner, which was realized about three months before “LIVE AID”. This is a stereo soundboard recording of the “Birmingham performance on March 23, 1985”. This is a live performance that is familiar as our masterpiece pro shot “BIRMINGHAM 1985 (Uxbridge 1939)” at the end of Tina’s “PRIVATE DANCER Tour”. Bowie joins as a guest at the end. They perform “Tonight” sung as a duet and “Let’s Dance” played in two different versions with different arrangements. David Bowie, Mick Jagger, and Tina Turner. This is a delicious masterpiece compilation album that brings together the miraculous collaboration that was realized in 1985. Not only does it complement the collection, but it is also a superb soundboard that gives you a rich feel of the era when the stars were shining brightly. A masterpiece compilation featuring the legendary big single has been released. In addition to the 5 versions of “Dancing In The Street”, you can also enjoy the Bowie stage of LIVE AID and the SBD of Tina & Bowie’s collaboration.
