Description
Here is a masterpiece video of the complete live reproduction of the masterpiece “COUNTDOWN TO EXTINCTION”. MEGADETH, who brought back Dave Ellefson in 2010, continued to work energetically, releasing albums “TH1RT3EN” and “SUPER COLLIDER” while holding planned live shows such as the “RUST IN PEACE” reproduction tour and participating in the “THE BIG 4 Project”. The “COUNTDOWN TO EXTINCTION 20TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR” was part of this, and was the second half of the “TH1RT3EN TOUR”. First, let’s check the position in the schedule at that time. {“TH1RT3EN” released in November 2011} ・November – December 2011: South America #1 (13 performances) ・January – May 2012: North America #1 (46 performances) ・May – June 2012: Europe (22 performances) ・July – August 2012: Asia (4 performances) “COUNTDOWN TO EXTINCTION 20TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR” ・September 2012: South America #2 (11 performances) ←★Here★ ・October 2012: India/Middle East (2 performances) ・November – December 2012: North America #2 (19 performances) ←※Official video {December 2012: Production of “SUPER COLLIDER” begins} This is an overview from the release of “TH1RT3EN” to “SUPER COLLIDER”. It’s not exact because there were several regular sets during the 20th anniversary tour, but about 1/3 of the final performances of the 117 performances were a reproduction of “COUNTDOWN TO EXTINCTION”. From this tour, the performance in Pomona, California was also the official video “COUNTDOWN TO EXTINCTION: LIVE”, but it was the last performance. It was the second to last performance. In contrast, this work contains the “September 10, 2014 Montevideo Performance (Uruguay)”. It is an audience shot of the fifth performance of “South America # 2”. You may think “There is an official one, but the audience?”, but this work is so amazing. It is a video released very recently by a core maniac overseas, and it is a multi-camera specification that makes full use of countless angles. Usually, when it comes to an audience edited with multi-camera, it is about using one or two sub-cameras as auxiliary cameras around the main camera, but this work is different. Not even one song, but even one phrase, the angles change so much that you can’t tell which one is the main one. Moreover, the quality of each angle is amazing! Of course, the best shots from each camera were carefully selected, but even so, there was almost no shadow from the front seats and the sense of stability was strong. The closest shot captured a bust-up with digital quality that was so good that it was really indistinguishable from a professional shot. What seeps out from such beautiful images is the guts and passion of the maniacs who created them. After all, from the right to the left, from close-ups looking up, to distant views… they checked every song in detail from countless angles, and meticulously put together the highlights of the four members and the songs. The music of MEGADETH, with its dizzying development of riffs and phrases, is beautifully visualized. This is pure imagination, but surely you experienced this show. The quality speaks of your desire to preserve that emotion in the best possible form. Otherwise, it would not be possible to create such a detailed work. It is a video work of that dimension. Normally, I should talk about the complete show, which includes “A Tout Le Monde” and “Whose Life (Is It Anyways?),” which cannot be seen on the official “COUNTDOWN TO EXTINCTION: LIVE,” but I even forget that. In recent years, the number of multi-camera audiences has increased, but the quality is not so high. Moreover, it is not the Rolling Stones or Paul McCartney, but MEGADETH that created it… Unfortunately, there was some digital image distortion in part of “Symphony of Destruction,” so it could not be pressed, but the beauty of the image is so beautiful that it touches the eyes otherwise. A piece where passion touches the heart. A fan-made video work that was filled with feelings for MEGADETH. ★Multiple AUD sources are mixed and the title is extremely high quality★★Symphony of Destruction, and the image is distorted due to problems caused by the master.
