Description
This work was filmed at three performances. It is a compilation of audience shots from the “May 25, 2015 London performance (14 songs)” as well as the “Europe #3” “July 17 Dormund performance (9 songs)” and “July 8 Berlin performance (7 songs)”. The video work “TRACKER TOUR: PARÍS & PADOVA 2015” of the same tour will also be released, but there is no overlap at all. As you can see from the number of songs, none of the three performances are full sets, and even more so, not one song is played in full. It is a digest video work that picks out the delicious parts of each song. You may think “What a digest,” but that’s too early. The volume of about an hour is splendidly “work-like,” and above all, the quality is too transcendent. Although the positions are different in each of the three performances, what they have in common is the super close-up. In particular, the main London footage is shot from a few rows in front (the third row?), looking up at Mark from below. Moreover, from there, the bold zoom gets closer to the highlights. If you look closely at his expression, you can see the veins on his temples, and if you get closer, you can even see the vibrations of each string. Of course, not only Mark, but also the highlights of each member are pursued. Even the drums at the back of the stage are so close that you can see the fingerprints on the cymbals. Of course, the two German performances are also superb. In fact, there are various angles mixed together, so it is difficult to say “the angle is ○○” or “the distance is ◇◇”, but generally it is super close. Although the main camera at the Dortmund performance is a little far away, the bold zoom makes it feel like you don’t feel the distance, and you can see “Brothers in Arms” and “Piper To The End”, which were not performed in London. And the last Berlin performance is also delicious with Mark in a position directly in front of him. The camera work makes the most of each position, giving you a special seat experience. Another thing I would like to add is the editing sense. Although each song is briefly mentioned, the selection is not random. Each song has its own delicious points. The chorus with delicious harmony, the guitar solo that creates heat, the obbligatory that shines with a momentary sense… The concentration of famous scenes that flow in rapid succession, as if to say “Look at this”, is not half-hearted. Even in Hollywood’s big-budget movies, the trailers are sometimes more interesting than the main feature, and the same can be said for this work. The rich viewing experience that continues for about an hour is more powerful than any other full video. As you can see from the screen capture, this is a video work that allows you to witness the “TRACKER Tour” in close-up and super beautiful image quality. Although it is difficult to introduce it as a single work due to the nature of “digest”, the content is particularly rich and exquisite. This is a record that is packed with charms that go beyond just inspiring the image of the main live album. The best part of the “TRACKER Tour” that cannot be expected in Japan.
