This title is a high quality soundboard recording of Marcus Miller’s performance at the 2012 Jazz Festival in France. It’s a jazz festival with Marcus’ hip-hop groove, comfortable soulful keyboards, and a guest appearance by the great Archie Shepp who plays a freaky blow. If you like electric Miles rather than orthodox jazz, this is a must-listen. There is also a great performance of “TUTU”, a staple of Miles’ later years (although written by Marcus).
