Description

Recorded on a sound board recording of the Buffalo performance on January 27, 1973. You can fully enjoy the finest ensemble with the finest sound quality that you can rarely experience. (Unfortunately, there is a sound cutout at Dawn 15:47.) Anyway, over the past 1973, he has performed an unusual number of live shows, and in August and September 1973, he performed live as Santana/McLaughlin. Other than that, I’ve been touring as Mahavishnu, starting with the Chicago performance on January 2nd! (In August 1973, the official “Between Nothingness & Eternity (live sound source)” was released, and a performance in Japan was held in September.) The full-length version can only be seen at the peak of Mahavishnu’s history. Dance of Maya (1st “The Inner Mountain Flame”), which has an avant-garde atmosphere similar to Crimson’s, features a parade of tremendous performances that never let up the tension, and the precise unison between McLaughlin and Goodman. McLaughlin’s exotic DiMeola-like arpeggios, Rick’s rolling bass play that effectively uses effects, Goodman’s transcendent violin with a sharp 9-time signature riff, and exquisite rhythm work with a strong impact from repeated hits of the bass drum. Birds Of Fire (2nd “Birds Of Fire”), Sanctuary, an overwhelming ensemble of five people in vivid synchronization, a Cobham Festival explosion! This is jazz rock with full-throttle irregular time signatures. Celestial Terrestrial Commuters is a masterpiece among Mahavishnu’s masterpieces, with an ultra-tight ensemble that is similar to Brand X! ! One Word (2nd “Birds Of Fire”) is truly full of great things to listen to, and even non-fans will be speechless with the many interplays that can only be described as divine. (Good sole) McLaughlin’s high-speed, full-picking style that can be heard at key points is irresistible, similar to the original Mahavishnu Orchestra) This is the ultimate item that allows you to luxuriously enjoy the unrivaled play of the first Mahavishnu Orchestra with the highest sound quality. . Please fully enjoy the one and only surging performance that is unrivaled by others! ! Live at Century Theater, Buffalo, NY 27th January 1973 SBD DISC 1 1. Greetings/Moments Of Silence 2.
