A must-listen live recording for fans, featuring a soundboard take from 1975. First, Disc 1 includes the master quality and soundboard recording of the Capital Theater in Passaic, New Jersey on February 2nd. It’s great to be able to listen to the live performances from this period with such excellent line recordings, and except for the fade-in recording of the intro to Colorado, the quality is of the highest level that can be used as an official live album. This also features a guest appearance by David Bromberg. Furthermore, Discs 2 & 3 include the early and late shows from the San Jose performance on September 22, 1975, also on a high-quality soundboard. Both shows are recorded with a thick and powerful sound, with a direct sound that makes you feel like you can hear Linda’s breathing, and the performance of the backing members is super clear. Only the early show plays Love Is a Rose. The opening four songs of the late show are not included, and it is recorded from Willin’, but Jackson Browne appears on the last Take It Easy, recreating the best performance here. In addition, Andrew Gold, her then-boyfriend, participated in all three performances on guitar, and rare live performances from the time of the release of “Prisoner In Disguise” are collected here.
