Liam Gallagher/UK 2017 S & V

After Beady Eye broke up, Liam Gallagher finally resumed his solo career in May 2017, while waiting for news about his musical activities. During his first solo tour, he appeared at the familiar Glastonbury Festival 2017, which was held for three days from June 23rd. This title is a coupling of sound and video from his appearance at the festival. Both are official quality from the BBC WEBcast on-air, coupling soundboard sound source and pro-shot video. First, he appeared on the second day, the 24th, and although the performance time was 57 minutes, which was a bit compact compared to a normal live performance, he started with the opening of “Fuckin’ In The Bushes”, followed by “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star” and “Morning Glory”, which was reminiscent of his Oasis days. After that, he performed several songs from “As You Were”, which was announced to be released in October of the same year, including the lead single “Wall of Glass”. And after the final “Be Here Now”, the usual ending of this tour was the a cappella “Live Forever”, but on this day there was a surprise ending with “Don’t Look Back In Anger”, the first time Liam sang on vocals, which made the tens of thousands of spectators join in the chorus of joy. In addition, the video DVD includes four songs, including a collaboration with Chris Martin at the Manchester terrorist memorial event “One Love Manchester” on June 4th, as well as a professional shot live from the “Pinkpop Festival” held in the Netherlands, as bonuses, for a total of 94 minutes, making this a must-see collector’s edition for fans in preparation for his first solo visit to Japan at Summer Sonic in August.
