Recorded live in Seoul, South Korea on November 30, 2006 with professional shots. It’s a very simple and friendly live show with a small group and small venue. It’s a luxury to be able to see Dave Grusin play the piano. What’s noteworthy is the rhythm section of Melvin Davis on bass and Oscar Seaton on drums. They’re not the usual rhythm section made up of super big names, but they’re two people who create a tight and pleasant groove. The setlist includes songs from the main duo’s new releases, plus a few more. It may not be appreciated by people who like him playing jazz & fusion style phrases, or people who like him doing four beats in a fashionable way, but it has an at-home atmosphere that keeps you laughing from beginning to end.
