Description
Contains the Bradford performance on January 18, 1973 from the UK tour that took place from November 1972 to January 1973. This performance is known for being able to listen to the Immigrant Song performed in 1973 on a soundboard recording. There has never been a complete recording of this performance, but this title includes the audience recording and soundboard including the Immigrant Song intro, which is the first appearance of this performance. This is a notable album that is the first to include all songs by mixing recordings. This performance first appeared about 20 years ago on a CD called “APRIL FOOLS DAY”, with only one Immigrant Song recorded on a soundboard, although it was incomplete, and then on a CD called “HEARTATTACK”, Dazed And Confused and Whole Lotta Love appeared for the first time. It appeared as a sound board recording although it was still incomplete. After that, the title containing these three songs has been released several times with improved sound quality, but in the end, only incomplete takes of these three songs have been confirmed in the sound board recording, and up to now. In addition, the audience recording appeared in the late 90’s under the title “BRADFORD UK 1973”, but the Immigrant Song was not recorded and the sound quality was not good, so the release was under this title both before and after. It remains as it is to this day. For this recording, the main audience recording uses a master that has been distributed among traders in recent years. This is the same sound source as “BRADFORD UK 1973”, and although it is a monaural sound with a sense of distance in the performance and less separation, it is a sound that is definitely clearer and fresher than “BRADFORD UK 1973”. Based on this audience recording, we mixed soundboard recordings distributed among traders and realized the recording of all songs. However, what is most noteworthy this time is that although it is an audience recording, it is the first recording of a series of soundboard recordings and the cheers before the Immigrant Song performance and the Immigrant Song intro section that were not included in the previously released “BRADFORD UK 1973”. I’m sure there are. This is a pseudo-complete version of the audience recording and soundboard recording, but the fact that Immigrant Song can be heard from the intro to the beginning is nothing short of groundbreaking, and this alone is a title that is definitely worth listening to. is.
