Description
From the UK tour that started at the end of November 1972, the live performance on the second day of Cardiff on December 12th was recorded as a monaural audience recording. This sound source was once recorded on the already released “Detroit Rock City” more than ten years ago as a bonus track with only the final part of the live performance, and surprisingly, it has never been made into a disc since then. Therefore, it has been a long time since I last appeared. In terms of sound quality, there is a lot of hiss when you listen to it compared to the previous releases, but the clarity of this title is clearly superior, and it has a natural and thick sound unique to analog recording, and a freshness that allows you to enjoy the realistic atmosphere of the venue. It has excellent sound quality. If you listen to this, you can see that although the previously released title has less hiss, it has been processed to have a flat and equalized sound, and the current title is probably closer to the master of the tape recorded at that time. I can be sure. In terms of recorded content, like previous releases, it is an incomplete recording of only the final stage of the live show, but it is a long recording (Let’s Have A Party cut-in, the clapping part of the audience asking for an encore after the Whole Lotta Love performance is recorded for more than 2 minutes, Immigrant Song ~ Heartbreaker also has cuts, but there are parts that are recorded for about 50 seconds longer etc…), making it a luxurious piece that allows you to experience the live performance of the day more realistically. Introducing a rare item that is a must-have for fans, packaging the Cardiff performance on the 8th day of the tour with ideal sound quality. Live at Capitol, Cardiff, Glamorgan, UK 12th December 1972 1. Whole Lotta Love incl. Let’s Have A Party/Heartbreak Hotel/I Can’t Quit You Baby/Going Down Slow 2. Immigrant Song 3. Heartbreaker 4. Mellotron Solo 5 . Thank You
