Description
Another ultra-unique title that fans must see from overseas has arrived. It is the laser disc edition of “The Song Remains The Same.” You may be wondering, “Why laser disc when there are currently DVDs and Blu-rays?” There is a reason for this. Originally, the original film of “The Song Remains The Same” was made in full screen 4:3, and even after it was released on video in the 1980s, it was released in the same size that fits CRT television screens. However, from the early 1997 laser discs, 16:9 “wide screen” was adopted, and it has remained that way ever since the DVD release began in 1999. The current “wide screen” that you are watching has the top and bottom of the original film cut off, and parts are missing and remain invisible. (Especially the bottom part is not visible.) This take was created based on a laser disc made in 1993, so you can enjoy it in the size and content of the original film itself. According to the comments of the production group, the sound is also extracted from the original soundtrack, so you can enjoy a very fresh and refreshed sound. This is a project that shows how the original was, but since it was produced and supervised by a huge fanatic overseas, it has turned out to be a very interesting title.
