Description

In 2005, Radio Hauraki, New Zealand’s first commercial FM station with a history of over 40 years (broadcasts a program called ‘Led Before Bed’ that only plays Zeppelin every Wednesday night) Contains the Oakland performance on February 25, 1972, which was broadcast on . Zeppelin’s only Oakland performance was broadcast using AUD sources, which is unthinkable in Japan. This 85-minute high-quality sound source uses source 1 (note that this performance also includes source 2, which was recently discovered, and although the sound is distant and quiet, it is 112 minutes longer than source 1. However, the best one that has already been released is the one that uses the 2nd Gen copy that was dubbed from the 1st Gen owned by Paul.C, but it has a clearly different sound image from those, and the 2nd I’m not sure if they are using Paul’s 1st Gen instead of Gen, or if they have been carefully treated for broadcasting, but I was definitely blown away by the wonderful, edgy sound from the first song, Heartbreaker. I’m sure you’ll be overtaken! It can be said to be a must-have item for fans who can enjoy the famous Auckland performance such as “Going To Auckland” and “No Longer Down Under” with the best sound and a different flavor than usual. An exclusive interview with the promoter at the time is also a must-listen. Since the program is nearly 2 hours long, it is full of excellent and must-listen live takes, and is a very excellent piece of content that fans should definitely get.
