Description
The London performance on October 12, 1969 is now available as the best quality board! This performance has been made into a record since the analog era and can be said to be a relatively standard performance, but surprisingly there has been no release in recent years and this is the first update in a while. The performance style in which Communication begins with Good Times as an intro was limited to this short period from October 1969 to December 6th in Paris, and perhaps this is because there were not many sound sources distributed during this period. The CD era of the 1990s From the very beginning, multiple copies of analog LPs were made into CDs. Then, in the mid-’90s, for the first time, CDs were made from tape sources instead of analog copies, and they continued to appear in the 2000s to this day. Although there is a reasonable amount of releases, most of the titles that have already been released have problems in some way, such as pitch, phase, volume, master generation, sound quality itself, etc., and it can be said that there are almost no definitive titles. However, the definitive title will finally appear on this board. The master of this disc is 1st Gen (not online), but the point here is that it is a CD from the Raw master without any hiss reduction. There are a lot of files on the internet that claim to be 1st Gen, but due to the effect of hiss reduction processing, these internet sound sources have a subtle, whirring, unpleasant metallic texture (really subtle). , but it’s definitely a product that has been subjected to a previous generation’s low-quality processing, or there is no metallic smell, but the sound source itself has clearly deteriorated, and what’s more, there are sounds such as the screams of the audience near the recording person. Perhaps because they didn’t like it, many of them were deleted during the distribution process, so there were a lot of missing pieces, and in other words, they were all of poor quality. Also, when comparing the recorded contents with previously released titles, although there are no parts that appear for the first time in this edition, the point is that there are clearly fewer distortions, roughness of the sound source, sound cutouts, etc., and it is said to be the best of previously released titles. Compared to the previously released version, this version is clear enough, but the rough texture of the tape and slight sound breaks that were noticeable on the previously released version have been largely eliminated. In addition, the pitch was off from beginning to end in most of the previously released titles, but it has been accurately adjusted in this version, and there is also a subtle sound deviation (pitch disturbance) around the middle of the daze that was noticeable in the previously released titles. There is no doubt that this work will be the best title, as the familiar careful mastering has been applied throughout, such as the fact that most of the problems have been resolved in the main version! Live at The Lyceum Theatre, London, UK 12th October 1969 Not on the internet (there is nothing really good on the internet in the first place) Best recording from natural masters without any hiss reduction!
