Description
This is an audience recording of the Chicago Stadium performance on April 6th of the 1977 US tour in Chicago, the third most populous city in the United States after New York and Los Angeles! (This was the first consecutive performance in 1977 in Chicago) It has been released in the past, but there were only a few, and due to its overwhelming popularity overseas, it has become a rare item that is hard to see, so this is a nice release. There are fewer cuts than the previous one, and it has been upgraded. On April 6th, before the members appeared on the first day, firecrackers exploded and the venue was in a dangerous state! Since 30 young people have been arrested since the tickets went on sale, this may be a natural occurrence. The four of them are in good shape, especially Plant, who is in good shape and has a good MC between songs, and he is in a good mood, singing Elvis Presley’s “BURNING LOVE”. Jimmy’s solos on this day’s “Nobody’s Fault But Mine” and “Since I’ve Been Loving You” are the best. The last song is “Trampled Underfoot”, but you must listen to the part where Bonzo occasionally puts in the beat of “Gallows Pole”. 1st Night of CHICAGO STADIUM DISC 1 tk01…..
