From the “Tour Over Europe”, which held all 14 performances in 1980, the second performance, June 18th in Cologne, Germany, is almost completely recorded for 1 hour and 42 minutes on a master quality sound board. It is originally a famous source since the analog era as an ultra-high quality sound board sound source, and while most of the performances on the 1980 tour were leaked on the sound board, it is characterized by a rough performance that is still uncoordinated in the early stages. The best part is being able to hear it with such realistic sound, and it’s especially interesting when you can hear Jonesy taking a lot of effort here and there to set the volume of the bass during the intense development. And compared to the first day the day before, there were some parts where I got the timing wrong and lost track of the progress, but for the most part it went smoothly. Still, Page’s roughness cannot be hidden, and “Since I’ve Been Loving You” is out of tune, and although it is quite strange in the first half, it continues to play as it is and adjusts in the middle. On the other hand, the medley of “White Summer” is a little longer, and “Midnight Moonlight” is also inserted. In addition, he showed a dramatic production of “Kashmir” and a wonderful solo in “Stairway To Heaven”, and in the encore “Communication Breakdown”, unlike Knebworth, his head break on the second chorus was perfect.
