Description
Regarding the first day of Long Beach in 1975, JEMS released the long-awaited mirrored cassette master version on the internet, but the 34 minutes of the second half of the show on the second day was the same JEMS in 2015 as 1ST. Since the release of the GEN sound source, the upper version has not yet appeared. Regarding ZEP’s performance itself, the performance on March 12th, which was extremely rough compared to the first day, is more acclaimed among enthusiasts, but unfortunately Millard was stuck in a traffic jam on that day. I got caught up in the situation, and by the time I finally got to the venue, the concert was coming to an end. Still, when you listen to the recorded fragments, the sound quality is outstanding. If the second day of Long Beach, which is considered one of the great performances, was heard in its entirety with this sound quality…I can’t help but have a dream that will never come true. Also, this is the second day of 1ST GEN, which has a sufficiently high sound quality, and although it is a short recording, you can enjoy the outstanding performance and sound quality, so we would like to share with JEMS the master sound source of the second day. What I want. The recording on the first day is the best, but even though it is a fragmentary recording on the second day, the sound quality is quite amazing. “DEDICATED TO WHO GOT DIVORCED TODAY” from the TCOLZ label in the early 2010s covers all the sound sources including this recording, but compared to the version recorded there, the upper feeling of this one is That’s quite a bit. As expected, the sound quality with luster and elasticity is a wonderful recording. If you want to listen to the entire live performance from this release, we highly recommend “DEDICATED TO”. The sound quality is inferior to the mirrored sound source, but among enthusiasts you will be overwhelmed by the great performance that will make you say “from this day to Seattle is the peak”. However, if you were to say that the first day was a mediocre live performance, that’s not true. In fact, Plant, who had caught a cold in Chicago and Page, who had injured his finger, had recovered from his injuries, but the tour had recovered and was in perfect condition for a masterpiece performance on the first day in Long Beach. Sho. In particular, Plant’s voice is in excellent condition, and his powerful singing shines throughout the entire album. It is also known that “The Crunge” was played almost in full with Plant’s vocals on both of these two days. Fortunately, I’m really happy that this valuable take was recorded on the second day as well. Millard’s recording perfectly captures the funky groove unique to 1975. Remastered memo: It gave the impression that it was missing, so I adjusted it and made it louder and easier to listen to. You can enjoy clear, high-quality sound that has a different texture from conventional sound. Live at Long Beach Arena, Long Beach, CA, USA 12th March 1975 TRULY PERFECT SOUND (34:00) 1. Stairway To Heaven 2. Whole Lotta Love 3. The Crunge 4. Black Dog 5. Heartbreaker
