Description
The 1975 Long Beach opening night was uploaded at the end of June of this year in the Mike Millard Master Cassette Series. (Currently, we are waiting for the master version of the second day, which was only able to record the second half of the show…) Despite the existence of the super strong sound board “LONG BEACH CALIFORNICATION”, this mirrored audience Today’s popularity is still enormous, and in fact, just like Eddie, it is still fresh in my memory that 6 CDs were sold out in the blink of an eye at our store. However, this mirrored master series. In addition to Zeppelin, recordings by artists such as Black Sabbath and Fleetwood Mac in the 1970s, Bowie in 1983, and U2 in 1992, whose existence was never confirmed until now, have appeared one after another regardless of the era, and have become popular around the world. It’s making the fans inside go crazy. On the other hand, when it comes to ZEP, I can actually hear people saying, “Isn’t the previous version better?” In fact, when I heard Eddie’s opening day in LA on June 21st, I had such a strong image of the past albums with their vivid sound quality that when I first listened to the master cassette version (via JEMS), I thought, “Huh? Is this what it is?” and “It’s plain. ?” and “Eddie in my head isn’t like this.” There were many comments on the internet that seemed a bit off-putting. Why? Does the tape deteriorate over time? Is it because of the environment of the playback equipment? (Is the head getting old?) And depending on the part, (digital) noise that never existed before appears (DAT noise?). Honestly, the current situation is making deep fans nervous. (As for Eddie, recently there has been a phenomenon where people think, “Maybe the purple jacket is the best after all.” Seriously?) So, on March 11th, the first day of Long Beach. . JEMS provided two types of this, a Tondemo remaster and a flat remaster (actually, I was surprised at the poor reaction of the public to the overly-worked remaster, so I decided to have it in a hurry (actually, I had already prepared it). (It seems that the flat version was released the next day), but recently, we are starting to hear voices saying, “The previous version is better.” In any case, like Eddie, he may have joined at a time when he needed to be verified as a “1st Gen.” This was uploaded by JEMS several years ago as “Mike Millard Unmarked 1st Gen Cassettes Transfer”. And when you listen to it, it’s amazing. Of course, it’s better than the master version from June this year! I can’t say this lightly, but when I listen to this Unmarked Transfer, the overall feel is very good. In fact, even though it’s the same sound source, the texture is completely different, so I feel like it’s just a personal taste in sound. In any case, it would be fun to go back to 1ST GEN and listen to it. Long Beach Arena, Long Beach, CA, USA 11th March 1975 ULTIMATE SOUND Disc 1 (55:35) 1. Intro 2. Rock And Roll 3. Sick Again 4.
