Description
The sixth mobile performance of the North American tour, which took place from May to July 1973 in conjunction with the release of “Houses Of The Holy”, was recorded on a sound board. From Midas’ “Goin’ Mobile” to the present, many items have been released using the sound source (same source) that was circulated among traders as 1GEN from the master (some were not in tune, and some had strong hiss from repeated dubbing), but this time, we packaged it using a digitized cassette of 2GEN that was recently circulating on the Internet. (Dazed And Confused 20:30 Noise removal, pitch adjusted just right) Normally, it is natural to think that 2GEN has inferior sound quality to 1GEN, but when you listen to the very natural and edgy sound, it is difficult to tell which is the low generation. (As in this case, the sound quality of the 1GEN reel-preserved version of “Destroyer” was clearly superior to that of the master version.) In the case of an audience source, the generation management information is almost accurate along with the taper name, but in the case of a sound board, it is not clear who the taper is or who currently owns the master, so the actual situation cannot be grasped. (We still do not know who actually owns the mobile master, and it is completely unclear whether the 2GEN tape was really dubbed twice…) In any case, it is truly moving to be able to enjoy the play of the whole body with ideal sound quality, such as the extremely progressive and trippy “No Quarter” that was introduced at this time. A must-have item for fans that allows you to enjoy the classic mobile performance (unfortunately it is incompletely recorded) with the highest sound quality ever!
