Description
Without James JT Taylor, an unparalleled vocalist, this band would have a stylish sound, a sense of camaraderie, an urban feel, and something typical of the early 80s. Kool & the Gang. People in the know say that it’s better without JT Taylor and that the 70’s were great, but for me, who is in charge of this review, I absolutely love the era with JT Taylor. In fact, he left the group in the late 1980s and went solo. On the other hand, the remaining members (I think it’s okay to say so) will continue their activities, but to be honest, neither of them will be able to produce any hit songs. So, there really was a time when JT and the remaining members of Kool & the Gang were united. The live performance of such a precious time is recorded with high quality audience recording! You can’t tell from the jacket, but JT Taylor is there! It’s definitely a song from this period. From the first song, Fresh, we are already in the era of brocon! Finally, a celebration with JT’s own original voice! It is a masterpiece that makes you think that they must become one after all. July 24, 1999 Concord Pavilion Concord, CA 1. Fresh 2. Joanna 3.
