“UDO MUSIC FESTIVAL” left a unique legend in the history of Japanese Western music. The best professional shot when he appeared as a bird will be released. This work includes “July 23, 2006: Fuji Speedway Performance”. This is the multi-camera pro shot. In 2006, we had a mini-tour format that included “UDO MUSIC FESTIVAL” as our main event, but also toured various locations. First, let’s check the show’s position on that schedule.・July 18: Nagoya Rainbow Hall ・July 20: Fukuoka International Center ・July 22: Izumiotsu Phoenix (Osaka) ・July 23: Fuji Speedway (Shizuoka) [This work] All 4 performances above . The latter two performances are “UDO MUSIC FESTIVAL”, and the Shizuoka performance of this work is the legendary scene. The legend is a record failure. The weather on the day was bad with heavy fog and rain, but what was even worse was the location and appearance of Fuji Speedway, which is difficult to access. It was good up until the time when it was mainly heavy-duty big names like SANTANA, Paul Rodgers, and THE DOOBIE BROTHERS, but there were also hardcore punk, alternative, soft rock, heavy rock, Japanese bands, and a lot more. At best, it’s diverse, but by mixing these together all at once, it has been shunned by fans of specific genres. As a result, the venue was empty. There were no lines at the toilets or shops, lockers and benches were free to use, and many spectators brought out plastic seats and chairs to watch. It seems that some spectators even brought dogs and cats with them. It was later announced that 30,000 people attended Fuji Speedway that day, but it was said that there were about 5,000 people behind the scenes. Naturally (?) the second festival was not held, and it became a legendary festival. However, it is still a large-scale festival with signboards put up by major music companies, and the event will be broadcast on television by a certain commercial broadcasting station. This work is a professional shot of that broadcast. And the quality that I am concerned about is impregnable. The other day, I introduced the Jeff Beck edition of this festival, but this work is also a superb master by the same record enthusiast. Completely official quality with no noise or deterioration at all. Of course, the awesomeness is also the best stereo sound board sound. Since the legend is just a legend, we cannot hope for an official archive, but the quality itself is a super beautiful master that should be made into an official work. A show drawn with such quality is a must-see in every sense. First of all, the most important show was the ultimate in KISS’s professionalism and gorgeous hit parade. Although the balance was the same as usual: “A lot of representative songs from the 70s + a little bit from the no-makeup era,” they also played plenty of famous songs that could not be heard in the official work of the previous tour, “ROCK THE NATION LIVE!”. “Watchin’ You,” “King of the Night Time World,” “Firehouse,” “Strutter,” “God of Thunder,” “Do You Love Me,” “Black Diamond,” “Let Me Go, Rock ‘N’ Roll,” and other classics. It can also be enjoyed as a sequel. They will also perform “Ue o Muite Arukou” while looking at the lyrics card. Also, the MC scenes that connect the gaps between such famous songs are delicious. Since this work is only broadcast in Japan, the MC will have Japanese subtitles. The cliché “You wanted the best, you got the best. The hottest band in the world…. KISS!!!!” also includes “You wanted the best, you got the best. The hottest band in the world….KISS!!!!” !Kiss!” and other messages such as “Are you ready? I’ll do it even if you’re not ready!” “I’ll show you a lot tonight!” and “Please give me a shot!” It’s a tasteful tone. Furthermore, the real pleasure of this work extends beyond the show. You can see the scales of the aforementioned legend at every corner of the screen. Of course, since it was edited with multiple cameras at a later date, it doesn’t feel like it’s intrusive at first glance, but when you watch it knowing more about it, you can see the faces of the audience closer than usual. The cut showing the audience seats is much closer than the usual KISS video, and each person is featured rather than a sense of scale. The lights directed at the audience seats are small and do not attempt to illuminate the edges, and cuts to the audience are short and quick. It can’t be helped that it looks like the number of spectators is intentionally not noticeable. And the best part is Paul’s MC after “Makin’ Love”. The subtitles say, “There are a lot of people here today. Don’t turn around!” but if you listen carefully, you’ll hear “40 thousands people here, today. Don’t turn around!” We’re all here! Hey, don’t look around!” It was a joke that revealed his true feelings, but his expression wasn’t laughing. Moreover, the Japanese subtitles try to prevent you from realizing that… Because it is truly a “UDO MUSIC FESTIVAL”, it is a lost scene that can only be seen in this work. In any case, this is an official multi-camera pro shot that symbolizes the 2006 “RISING SUN TOUR”. This is the highest version. Although it is an extremely luxurious piece of music, it is a piece that will never be made into an official work. At the same time, when you think back to those days, the faint scent of festival legend tickles your nostrils, making it a unique masterpiece of entertainment.
