Description

In 1970, at the beginning of his solo career after leaving Soft Machine, he led his group “The Whole World” on a Euro tour, and recorded a live performance in the Netherlands on July 30th from the broadcast source on FM at the time, with master quality and soundboard. First of all, this tour took place before the release of his second album “Shooting at the Moon”, but he already performed three songs from this album, and the other five songs are from his first album, making this a super rare live recording from just the beginning of his solo career. What’s even more amazing is that almost all of the members who recorded this album participated, including Mike Oldfield, David Bedford, and Lol Coxhill, who were still unknown at the time, as well as Robert Wyatt on drums and Bridget St. John on guest vocals. This incredible performance by members unique to this period is truly miraculous, and a must-listen item for Canterbury fans. 01. Interview Kevin Ayers/02. The Oyster And The Flying Fish/03.
