Description

In 1985, the world tour that started with the Tokyo performance on January 30th and the live performance at the North Sea Jazz Festival on July 12th were recorded for the first time at normal speed and with a broadcast sound source different from the previously released version. This is a surprising item with the best quality and a new look. The old title, which had been pointed out by enthusiastic enthusiasts, “There are parts where the sound wavers a bit in the middle of the song” and “There is a song that stretches for about 9 seconds”, was released on the radio in 1985. The old cassette tape that recorded the live performance was used as the original source, and as expected, the tape itself had deteriorated slightly over time, and there were parts of the beautiful melody played by Keith’s piano that lacked clarity. It is unclear whether the newly released live concert at North Sea Jazz Festival in The Hague is a rebroadcast, whether a tape was discovered in extremely good condition, or whether it was remastered by a maniac, but this sound source, this It would be a shame to miss listening to the beautiful piano. In addition, there is a slight hiss noise at the beginning of the 5th track on Disc 2, but even if you put that aside, there is no doubt that it is a very excellent sound source. Disc 1 1.I Didn’t Know What Time It Was / My Ship 2.God Bless The Child 3.So Tender 4.Late Lament 5.Falling In Love With Love DISC 2 1.It’s Easy To Remember 2.I Wish I Knew 3.You And The Night And The Music(inc) 4.The Way You Look Tonight 5.Old Folks 6.I Didn’t Know What Time It Was / My Ship Live at North Sea Jazz Festival, The Hague, Netherlands 07/12/1985 Keith Jarrett (p) Gary Peacock (b) Jack DeJohnette (dr)
