Description
After leaving Miles Davis’ group and working in trios and quartets, Keith began seriously pushing the boundaries of expression on acoustic solo piano in the summer of 1972, and even today he still plays solo. Specializing in piano and continuing to take on new creation challenges… “The Cologne Concert,” a recording of his solo performance at the Opera House in Cologne, Germany, on January 24, 1975, was highly acclaimed around the world for its innovation and unparalleled beauty. It reigns as the most popular work in his solo concert series. Three weeks after the Cologne concert, on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1975, a solo piano concert was held at Skinner Hall at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, located on the west side of the Hudson River in New York. Similarly, we have received an extremely good content item that was completely recorded on an ultra-high quality sound board with the label’s own careful mastering over a period of 75 minutes!
