Description
While working in Miles Davis’ band, Keith Jarrett met Manfred Eicher, the owner of the German jazz label ECM, and signed a contract with him as a solo artist. As a first step, he released his first solo album, “Facing You,” in 1971. Then, while performing piano solo concerts in Europe under the arrangement of Manfred Eicher, he performed at the Molde Jazz Festival in Norway on August 2, 1972, and you can enjoy this treasure title for maniacs, recorded with a high-quality sound source different from the previously released titles. Keith Jarrett’s solo performance that you can listen to here will be inherited by his solo piano masterpiece “Solo Concert” released two years later, and you can enjoy his unique delicate, lyrical, heart-touching sound. This performance is a harbinger of Keith Jarrett’s rise as a jazz solo pianist! Live at Molde Jazz Festival, Molde, Norway 08/02/1972 1.Piano Improvisation(46:15)
