Description

This is the third release in the series as part of a project to create a library of Kate Bush’s precious recordings. It is from TOUR OF LIFE, and contains a live performance held on May 6, 1979 at a theater on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, the most beautiful street in the world. The sound quality is the best of the audience recordings from this tour, and you can understand its high quality just by listening to the first song, “Moving.” It is no exaggeration to say that this Paris performance was the best sound quality on Kate’s 1979 tour, which was not blessed with good sound quality. Unfortunately, only the first half of the recording was recorded, which is a shame as the sound quality is so good, but the title makes you feel grateful that you can listen to the live songs, mainly from the first album, in such high quality. There are two types of bonus tracks. First, two songs, “Wuthering Heights” and “Kashka From Baghdad”, from the studio live performance on the TV program “ASK ASPEL” on May 6, 1979, and five songs, “Moving”, “Saxophone Song”, “Feel It”, “Kite” and “James And The Cold Gun”, from the Stockholm performance on April 24, 1979, are recorded on the soundboard. Originally recorded for a TV program, it was not broadcast in its entirety due to the program, but I think it is a valuable soundboard source other than Hammersmith. From the jacket to the disc design, the latest Paris performance, which is a series of Kate Bush’s library, is recorded in high quality. This is a definitive edition with a full range of bonus tracks. THEATER DES CHAMPS ELYSEES PARIS, FRANCE May 6, 1979 01. Moving 02. Saxophone Song 03. Room For the Life 04. Them Heavy People 05.
