Description
Pittsburgh on December 2, 1975 recorded the Stanley Theater performance with the perfect stereo soundboard recording. With the tour accompanying their third album “Masque” (which won a gold disc), you can enjoy the fulfilling period right before their big hit. The dynamics of the performance were excellent in everything, including Phil’s solid rhythm work and the interaction with Robbie’s rolling violin, and especially the variety of unusual time signatures shown in Song For America and Icarus-Borne On Wings Of Steel. The band/ensemble is overwhelming. It is also nice to be able to listen to It Takes A Woman’s Love, which is very rare at this time of year. A precious 75-year-old superb sound source from Kansas, the hero of American progressive rock. This is a sound source that I would like you to obtain.
