Description
This is the third day of the “Wayne Shorter Legacy Celebration” held in 2019. Although it bears the name of Wayne Shorter, unfortunately Shorter himself is not there, so please forgive me. Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci, and Brian Blade, who worked with Shorter at the time, formed the foundation, and Terrace Martin, who is also famous for producing new generation jazz musicians such as Robert Glasper and Kentrick Lamar, participated. The third day was led by Kamasi Washington, a new generation jazz musician like Terrace Martin. All the songs were written by Wayne Shorter. For the encore, they played “Palladium” from the Weather Report era. It is an audience recording, but it is a well-recorded advanced audience sound source.
