In 2018, a world tour was announced to coincide with the release of “Firepower,” the first album in four years. However, it was announced that Glenn Tipton had been suffering from Parkinson’s disease for 10 years and would be withdrawing from touring activities, which caused fans around the world to express surprise and disappointment. The “Firepower 2018” tour began in this situation, and the live performance in Youngstown, Ohio on March 15, the second day of the North American leg, was recorded in full digital audience recording. First, the live performance, in which Andy Sneap, who is also the album producer, took over as guitarist in place of Glenn, featured a set list of four songs from the album and representative numbers from the past. Rob was in top form that day, overwhelming the audience with his vocals reminiscent of his performances of the past. Later, in Newark, New Jersey, it was reported that Glenn made a surprise encore appearance, delighting fans, and said that “on days when I’m feeling good, I’ll join the band on stage and play a few songs,” building expectations for future shows. 1 : 1.
