Description

The ultimate stereo soundboard album is here. This work includes their memorable 10th visit to Japan, and Arnel Pineda’s second visit to Japan. “March 11, 2013: Nippon Budokan performance”. They came to Japan this year and performed at Nippon Budokan, but this work was four years ago. First of all, let’s check the position on the schedule. March 11: Nippon Budokan [This work] March 12: Grand Cube Osaka March 14: Hiroshima Bunka Gakuen HBG Hall March 15: Nagoya City Public Hall March 17: Kanazawa Opera House All five performances above. This year’s Nippon Budokan was arranged for the tour final, but four years ago it was the first day. This show was also broadcast on a certain satellite broadcast, but this work is special among them. In fact, it is a master brought from the same route as SADE’s “PROMISE IN TOKYO”, a masterpiece. This is the third soundboard board that has appeared from this route. Just the other day, Clapton’s “BUDOKAN 2009 5TH NIGHT” was very well received, and this work arrived at the same time. The quality is no longer “transcendental”. Of course, since it is a sound board that has been broadcast digitally in recent years, it is natural that it is vivid, clear, and official. On top of that, this work has a beautiful rich “ringing” of the mid-low range. When I watched it on TV, it felt strangely flat, but the “sound particles” flowing from this work have a three-dimensional feel and presence. A single note that is essentially just a wave of sound. It rises, sounds rich, and disappears… this series of flows feels three-dimensional, like the “particles” of changing polka dots. And there is a gap between the notes that have the presence of the particles. Each one collides, separates, and scatters. Moreover, the sound dance occurs on all instruments. Beautiful piano tunes, soaring guitar, powerful rhythm supporting the melody, and expressive singing voice… yes, it’s a “sound that paints a scene” like fireworks shining in the night sky. I wrote “official class” simply earlier, but the sound so far is not so common even in official releases. Official releases have good or bad sound according to official standards, but this work is definitely “famous” by official standards. Such a “transcendent” sound depicts the greatest hits, which are dazzling and golden super famous songs. During this year’s visit to Japan, we were excited with “first day = best hits + second day = famous album reproduction”, but this work is similar but not the same as this year’s best set. Six of the 20 songs were different sets. Of them, the numbers from “ESCAPE” and “FRONTIERS” were played at the famous album reproduction night, but “Just The Same Way” from “EVOLUTION” and “Stay Awhile” from “DEPARTURE” are only in 2013. Another highlight is Arnel Pineda. It was only four years ago, but it’s been four years. He’s in much better shape than this year, and his singing is even more amazing. JOURNEY showed us the awesomeness of the super-famous song rush again this year. This is a masterpiece live album that depicts the golden hit parade on a super-excellent stereo sound board with its own unique route. Of course, it’s only natural that it’s the best sound board for broadcasting in recent years, but it’s a pinnacle work that goes beyond the thin skin.
