Description
JOURNEY has started a US tour ahead of the release of their first new album in 11 years, “FREEDOM”. The latest live album, which will be a breaking news report, will be released simultaneously in two works! This is the first of these two titles. It is a super-excellent audience recording of the “February 28, 2022 Boston performance”. JOURNEY resumed their activities last year with the single “The Way We Used To Be”, but after that, member changes occurred early. Randy Jackson / Narada Michael Walden left the band. First, let’s check the show’s position while sorting out the recent situation in the schedule. 2021 “The Way We Used To Be” released on June 24th July: Marco Mendoza/Dean Castronovo joins July 29th-September 18th: North America #1 (7 shows) December 1st-31st: North America #2 (8 shows) 2022 “January: Marco replaced by Todd Jensen” February 22nd-May 17th: North America #3 (42 shows) ←★Here★ This is JOURNEY in 2021/2022. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they were silent in 2020, but they started touring with the release of their single. However, by that time, the Randy/Narada duo had already left and were replaced by Marco/Dean. However, the lineup was also temporary, and Marco also left in 2022. They were replaced by Todd Jensen, formerly of DORO/HARDLINE and known for his work with Paul Rodgers and Alice Cooper. Currently, they are carrying out a full-scale US tour “North America #3” with that lineup. The Boston performance of this work was the first concert of the 5th performance. This work recorded at such a show is a dynamic and superb audience. Since it is the first tour in a long time, attention is also being paid to the recording, but this work is already being whispered as “Tour No. 1!?” Anyway, the core is extremely thick and powerful, and the spectacle of the hall sound is also excellent. If you focus only on the core, it approaches without feeling the distance with a sound board-like closeness. However, the hall sound that rises from the core like an aura is extremely stretchy, and it is a soaring uplifting feeling that the performance sound is going forward forever. Of course, if such a sound hides or muddies the details, there is no point, but there is no worry about that with this work. The sound itself is thick, but it is strangely transparent and does not block the rushing force of the core. The bass is rich and rumbling, but each note has a clear outline. This is a great recording that makes you sigh, “Is the audience in 2022 really that amazing?”, but there is a reason for that. In fact, it is a recording by a master of modern times and rumored to be a master. The master is “Farve4”. Some of you may have heard his name, but he is a person who has been releasing the finest products of the latest shows one after another. Hall & Oates’ “MANSFIELD 2021”, FLEETWOOD MAC’s “BOSTON 2019”, THE EAGLES’ “BOSTON 2018 1ST NIGHT”, and other masterpieces by various bands have been very well received. This work is the JOURNEY edition of such a master collection. Moreover, this work brushes up the original sound. It is the highest peak board that has been polished with meticulous mastering. The key point is the mid-high tones. The original sound on the net had a texture that contained a slight tingling distortion, but in this work, the discomfort was alleviated through frequency band analysis. A natural sound with analog-like fullness was achieved. In any case, this is a live album where you can enjoy the masterpieces of the past with a “brilliant sound” full of uplifting feeling. Audience recording is a unique culture where you can feel the progress of technology with your skin, but this work teaches us the “cutting edge of 2022” that humanity has reached. A new masterpiece filled with moving sounds that go beyond the scope of a mere latest report. A super-excellent audience recording of the “Boston performance on February 28, 2022”. This is the latest recording by “Farve4”, a modern master, and the core is simply thick and powerful, and the hall sound that rises from the core like an aura is extremely stretchy. It is filled with a soaring sense of uplifting and spectacle that makes the performance sound go on forever. This latest live album features a beautiful and dynamic “brilliant sound” and the new song “The Way We Used To Be.” TD Garden, Boston, MA, USA 28th February 2022 TRULY PERFECT SOUND Disc 1 (55:31) 1.
