Description
JOURNEY has decided to come to Japan for the first time in seven years, and the excitement has risen. The latest video, perfect for preparing for the tour, has been released. This work was filmed at the Louisville performance on February 24, 2024. This is a spectacular audience shot. After releasing their first new album in 11 years at the start of the pandemic, “FREEDOM,” they are still going strong on their tour. This is a good opportunity to review their progress. 2022 February 22nd – May 7th: North America #1 (40 shows) ←※PITTSBURGH 2022 etc. ・July 4th: The Fourth in America appearance 《FREEDOM released on July 8th》 ・July 15th – October 6th: North America #2 (18 shows) ←※MID STATE FAIR 2022 2023 January 27th – May 20th: North America #3 (43 shows) ←※LINCOLN 2023 and others: July 1st + 29th: North America #4 (2 performances) 2024: February 9th – April 29th; North America #5 (30 performances) ←★Here★ ・July 6th – September 8th; North America #6 (23 performances) ・October 19th – 23rd; Japan (3 performances) ・October 30th – November 17th; UK (11 performances) This is the summary of activities that have been announced from 2022 to the present. Up until now, we have been carefully touring North America, but from 2024, we will finally advance overseas. Starting with Japan, we are also scheduled to go to the UK. In the midst of all this, the Louisville performance of this work is the start dash of “FREEDOM Tour 2024”. It was the 9th performance of the opening “North America #5”. This work that conveys such a show is an audience shot that depicts a “breathtaking view”. From the shooting position, it is a special seat. The arena seats face the center of the stage, and are quite far forward (probably about the fourth row). From there, you can see as much of the stage as you want. Whether you look to the right or left, you can see every member directly with the wide open view. The camera work, which makes full use of that wide view, is also excellent. The camera licks everyone as if checking them out, while Arnel Pineda flies around here and there, but the key is to hardly zoom in. They are so close that you can see everyone vividly without zooming in, and the contrast with the huge screen they carry behind them is amazing. While enjoying the atmosphere of the stage and the combination of each member with a direct shot, a close-up shot of a professional shot also jumps into the same field of view. And the difference in size creates a spectacle that is typical of the latest entertainment. The full show depicted with such visual beauty is like a prediction of the upcoming Japan tour. Let’s check out the set contents here. Escape (6 songs) Stone In Love / Don’t Stop Believin’ / Who’s Crying Now / Escape / Mother, Father / Open Arms Others (10 songs) Infinity: Lights / Wheel in the Sky Frontiers: Send Her My Love / Faithfully / Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) Others: Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’ / Any Way You Want It / Only The Young / Let It Rain / Be Good To Yourself … and so on. The new song from “FREEDOM” is limited to “Let It Rain”, and the greatest hits are centered around the “ESCAPE” numbers. In fact, the style is about two songs cut from last year (2022), but it is an even more special set. And whether it was because of the narrowing down of the number of songs, or because it was the beginning of the tour, Pineda’s singing voice is in top form. Recently, the success or failure of their show depends on Pineda’s condition, but this work is quite a hit. It’s been seven years since they came to Japan in 2017, when they were excited by the reproduction of “ESCAPE” and “FRONTIERS”. The first performance in Japan in 11 years is about to be realized as an album tour. The masterpiece video calms that excitement… no, it makes it even hotter. The latest video has been released, which seems to predict their first visit to Japan in seven years. A special seat shot captured from the fourth row directly in front of the stage, a spectacular view where you can see everything you want to see. You can fully experience the “FREEDOM Tour 2024”, which is also a rich greatest hits. KFC Yum Center, Louisville, KY, USA 24th February 2024 AMAZING SHOT!!! 1. Space Intro 2. Only The Young 3.
