Description

A new master edition with significantly improved sound quality of the killer sound source that played rare numbers with a luxurious guest invited to the four-piece Black Cats, which had a black rhythm section and Sylvain on side guitar at the time of recording QUE SERA SERA! The sound source recorded at the live performance held at Irving Plaza, New York on February 15, 1986, when the Black Cats, which had a black rhythm section at the time of the release of the album “Que Sera Sera”, and ally Sylvain Sylvain participated as a guitar, was already released on the same label as “DONT YOU JUST KNOW IT”, but the master low gene master used there was excavated! It is re-released as a new master edition with significantly improved sound quality! It is a clear sound that you can hear at a glance that has been upgraded to a much clearer sound quality, and each part is very well balanced, and you can enjoy it with a powerful high-quality sound that captures the sound that fills the floor as it is! Since the latter six songs are missing from the new master excavated this time, the master used in the previous version has been supplemented by remastering. The album starts with the opening “Theme of the Golden Arm”, and includes numbers from the album “Que Sera Sera”, Sylvain’s “14th Street Beat”, and an acoustic corner, but from “Bright Lights Big City” onwards, it is different from a normal live performance, with Michael Monroe of Hanoi Rocks joining in not only on vocals but also on sax and harp, and it becomes a session party with guests. A horn section is also added, and a rare cover of Huey Smith’s “Don’t You Just Know It” is played, as well as Don’t Mess With Cupid, who has been playing since the Dolls era, is played in an arrangement featuring horns. The horn section that participates here is said to be the horn section of James Brown’s band at the time, although the authenticity is unknown. This is a fan-favorite item that is a little different from a normal live performance, where you can get a glimpse of Johnny’s image, who said he wanted to perform a stage like an old R&B review with a large group of members!
