John Sykes Whitesnake, Blue Murder John Sykes/Demos 1985-1988

As a memorial item for John Sykes, who died of cancer in January 2025, the demo tracks from the precious studio recordings are recorded in master quality and soundboard sound source for a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. First, there are 6 demo tracks from Whitesnake’s “1987 (SERPENS ALBUS)”, which of course are different from the tracks included in the official 30th anniversary edition, and since it is a through demo after the production has progressed considerably, it is quite complete. In addition, there are 3 early rehearsal tracks from the same album. And the second half is 6 tracks from “BLUE MURDER”, which is a demo from the initial formation of the band for the debut album, and in addition to John Sykes and Tony Franklin, the drummer is Cozy Powell. Incidentally, although it is a well-known sound source from the past, the best master is used here, and it is in a different dimension from the sound source quality uploaded on Youtube, etc., and not only do different arrangements and phrases come out one after another from the official ones, but the bass drum hits unique to Cozy are also powerful.
